From a designer's workspace to an artist's studio, regardless of size, I have approached each job with a clearly defined method, patience and professionalism.
Below are a couple of examples of projects that i have recently completed.

decluttering & organising

3 beds in Clapton

In Jennifer's flat (that she shares with her husband and two children), the rooms didn't have defined purposes: the parents wardrobes and the household storage were crammed in the kids' room which was left feeling really tiny and box-like. One room was almost empty and had no purpose, and the office was more of a dumping ground.

It is still a work in progress but we have already redefined and repurposed the empty room as a Storage room into which we moved the parents clothes and households storages. They may think of buying a larger storage solutions the future, but for now, they have reused theirs and it's working for them,

As for the kids, they now have a room just for themselves, that doubled in size, we even added a table for their homework and crafts. And Jennifer repainted it the same day!

So far, we haven't worked on the office, but hopefully will show you the progress as we go along.

House in South London

With 3 children under the age of 4, this family home was in constant chaos. They called after they made the decision to home school their children. The order had to happen. Here is what we achieved in our first two sessions. More are planned in the future as I have designed some built-in storage solutions for them.

I have also helped them with their food storage as the chaos meant that they would buy loads of food in huge quantity as they couldn't see what was in their cupboards. We went shopping together and bought some boxes to sort through their food.

Artist Studio:

Lis is an artist who creates large pieces of work using furniture. After working continuously for two years  on various projects, her studio, office and storage rooms were crammed with materials, tools, books, fabric... It was very difficult to even enter the storage room!

With the purchase of storage solutions, a declutter and a complete redesign, we were able to reinvent her workspace, creating a harmonious working environment with greater functionality.

Before

Artist studio store room filled with material to the point of not being able to enter the room. We have taken everything out and rearrange the whole room in groups of similar items. Reorganise the way items were stored Leaving the storage room airy, easy to access and to find what you are looking for.

After

Artist's studio storage is now totally organised and practical. Every item is labelled and stored in categories. You can see what you are looking for easily. complete overhaul
Teen's bedroom

I had a really good time helping a lovely person transitioning from a little girl to a young person.

She was anxious at first of letting go of the memories attached to her childhood so I advised creating a memory box where she put all her favourites toys and memorabilia.

We also got reed of bulky furniture to make room.

We also created  a box for her to put things that she wasn't sure she wanted to keep but couldn't really part with yet. We called it the '6 months' box. She will look in it in 6 months and see if she is ready to let go then.

I also showed her how to fold her clothes in a way that will allow her to see what she has and keep it tidy.

Musician's studio

Gabriel works from home. He has moved his studio there a few years ago and worked flat out since then. He only had half a day to spare, so we got going.

His work space was full of objects, cables, instruments...

Smaller items are now stored away in  designated cupboards, or tidied away together in a specific corner of the room.

His desk is clutter free.

His paperwork was pilled up in every available surface. We sorted them in piles that he will go through later.

Gabriel can now enjoy is large space without bumping into objects.
